Jones & Duffin was established in April 1989 by Iain Jones and Peter Duffin. Both partners recognised the need for a friendly accessible practice that took the confusion out of legal matters, and provided clients with real peace of mind.

In 1998 Kauser Dossaini joined the practice as a partner, bringing experience of family services and advocacy skills. The team of qualified support staff all share a common philosophy and commitment to client care and access to justice.

Iain Jones BA (Hons) Law Leicester University
Iain has considerable experience in local private practice since admission in 1981. Primarily concerned commercial and property work. Married with one football mad daughter Iain is a keen supporter of Leicester Tigers, County Cricket and City Football.

Peter Duffin BA (Hons) Law Leicester Polytechnic
Originally from West Sussex Peter has worked in private practice in Leicester since graduating in the mid 1970s. Peter concentrates on wills, codicils, estates, family Issues and accident cases. Married with three daughters, he is a keen motorcyclist and is actively involved with Leicester City Football Club as a board member of the foxes trust.

Kauser Dossani BA (Hons) Leicester Polytechnic
Originally from Malawi, Kauser has been in private practice since 1993. She mainly concentrates on family work. As an active member of both the Leicester Domestic Violence Forum and the Family Law Panel she specialises in domestic violence cases. In addition Kauser has experience in housing and immigration law and is a fluent speaker of various Asian languages.
